Leon Hicks has been defending Georgians in criminal court for 36 years. He built his practice in Clayton County — learning how its courts operate, how they think, and how to fight effectively for clients when the stakes are highest.
He founded Leon Hicks & Associates, PC in 1991. In the years since, he has represented clients across the full range of criminal defense matters, with deep experience in DUI cases from first offense through felony, license suspension hearings, personal injury, and trial.
Leon earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from New College in Sarasota, Florida, and his Juris Doctor from Atlanta Law School. He has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since January 1991.
He is a husband, father of two, and grandfather — a man who has spent his entire career in this community, for this community. He knows what is at stake when someone walks through his door. He has seen it for 36 years.
